Just wanted to share some bad business from FACE-CROOK before they delete me.
They are demanding ID CARDS from soldiers and then posting their private info. Regardless of the fact they they are deployed in a war, and would love to use Facebook to stay in touch with families, they are insisting they use their full names on their profiles for bad guys to find them and do harm to their loved ones. Shame! Please, write them and let them know before they do the same to you.
UPDATED: Yes, it is true. They say EVERYONE MUST USE REAL NAMES VERIFIED BY THEIR ID CARDS. They are deleting accounts without reason or warning, and then demanding ID CARDS! Then, they enter the FULL NAME ON THE ID and BLOCK THE USER from being able to change it. Even though they are soldiers and plead for their privacy and family's safety, they do not care and do so without the user's permission. These are facts. And this is coming to everyone as Facebook is stating that it is in their TOS to do this to you without your permission since they are providing you this space, regardless that they are making a profit from you for free use of their site, they should not have the right to force anyone to violate their own privacy, safety and security.

TSA San Diego March 15th
FLIGHT TO HOUSTON:
I was forced to wait ten minutes for a pat down, as TSA was unable to handle the request of 1 person to OPT OUT. When 2 people in a row opted out, they were completely overwhelmed.
Regardless of the fact that we now have to report to the airport an hour earlier to accommodate the TSA process, they are still obligated by duty to be able to perform their forced measures in a timely and courteous manner.
When a passenger rightly asks after 5 minutes, what is the delay, the TSA has no just cause to respond by saying we don’t have a right to ask and that our unprofessional delay is due to our decision to opt out. Instead, they need to give a reasonable timeline of expectation for when the pat down will occur, and they need to be able to explain why they are delaying, as staffing or shift change can be an issue at times. But most importantly, after 10 minutes of inability on their part to do their job, they should simply allow the passenger to go through the metal detector and be on their way, you know, the old fashioned way?
Their manager, Candi Jeffries, was trying to be helpful and I could see her working hard at all stations to make things work, but they were understaffed and needed to convey that to an inquiring passenger. But in no way does the TSA have any right to delay passengers due to their own inability to perform their function. In all cases, the rights of the passenger (also, still considered a law biding “innocent until proven guilty” and “tax paying” citizen, with all the rights guaranteed us by our constitution) should be treated with dignity and respect by the TSA otherwise, they become not only bullies, but as well, in their violation of our constitutional rights assured us by law, the TSA also becomes the criminal.
Know your rights. Speak up. The Citizens of this Nation should not be afraid because of the intimidating Gestapo tactics the TSA actively employs every day against it’s own people by threatening them with the power of the law just because the TSA in unable to cope with it’s own deficiencies. I have spent my entire professional life fighting for the oppressed as a member of America’s Green Berets and it would seem I now have to keep up the fight at home. But I, for one, will not give away my freedoms easily.
If the TSA intends to continue to be the attacker on the American people, I aim to misbehave…

Response From the TSA
Hello all my fellow travelers. This is the lovely note I received from the TSA.
I wrote to their E-mail address on their web site as directed by them. Only because they did not have a form or a box at the TSA gate where the incident occurred. I actually complimented 3 of their employees, by NAME and they still can't handle it.
Now, I ask you, are these folks fit to run our security if they can't handle simple e-mails? What a very scary concept.

Complaint Against TSA Officer
Sharing a complaint I have lodged with the TSA:
I am a Retired Special Forces Commander and combat veteran.
I was recently traveling and received a rather inflammatory comment from one of your officers.
I opted out, was stood to the side, the officer called for “male assist” – all good.
After 4 minutes, I noticed 4 males standing around and no one coming. I asked him how long I had to wait, and he said, and I quote, “that’s what you get for opting out.”
Well, you have a job to do, and I may disagree with how you do it, but we have a right to opt out.
When we do, you still have a job to do and like the other parts of your job, you have a duty to do so quickly and efficiently without undue delay bordering on harassment and punishment for opt out travelers.
It seems that this is a standard practice as I always opt out, but this was an unusual delay, especially when so many males where about and not busy. But this young man’s comments reflected what I suspected, and certainly were not justified nor were they professional.
I also work on TV as a host of a few shows and will share this publicly as there is an obvious outrage by the public at the bullying and intimidation practiced by the TSA against US citizens on a daily, nationwide basis. In this way, you have hurt our economy and support the efforts of the bad guys.
Until you learn to do your duty with honor, and respect and treat Americans with Dignity and not like criminals, you will always be a cause of more harm then help.
The TSA Leadership should hear this message! Thanks and all the best!

VERY "Special" Appreciation for the Great TSA service
This BLOG is a place for all of you to share your "compliments" to the TSA for their outstanding service to the American people and their contribution to making us feel "safe".
I for one, prefer not to dabble in these 'political' type issues, but I have dedicated my life to fight for our rights and freedoms and to see them systematically strip them away, label it something else, and then treat every American like a criminal, seems more like bullying and abuse of power, than service and safety.
Once we give these freedoms away, we can not so easily recover them. Once we begin going down this path, it is a slippery slope downward from which return is near to impossible. I only know that once we begin treating all Americans as terrorists, each time the fly, then the bad guys have already won. When the people carrying out these activities do so with this attitude, they are the ones actually executing the will of the bad guys and destroying our nation's morale and economy as less folks want to travel when they know the TSA is so enthusiastic and rigorous in their "concern" for us.
I dedicate this site to speaking up and sounding off for our freedoms and liberties against the infringement and reduction of what our founding fathers strove so hard to create for us.
That said- here are the rules for Hawke's Hall-er:
1) KEEP IT CLEAN
2) KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL
3) KEEP IT FUNNY
I have one rule when discipling my sons- never spank in anger.
So, I suggest the same here, never blog in anger.
Write what you like, but try to do it in a way to make folks laugh and smile
and still see your point with style. This way, we needn't worry about any accusations of wrong doing, only speaking truth and speaking freely as is our right as Americans, at least, it is so, for now.
Thanks to each of you who take the time and are bold enough to share.
Perhaps enough stories of what is going on, documented, might get some of our leaders to see the errors of our ways and turn back the tide to get common sense and restraint back into the play as we move boldly into the future with hope and belief, that we are still the bastion and beacon of freedom in the world.
Salute!
