Just wanted to share some bad business from FACE-CROOK before they delete me.
They are demanding ID CARDS from soldiers and then posting their private info. Regardless of the fact they they are deployed in a war, and would love to use Facebook to stay in touch with families, they are insisting they use their full names on their profiles for bad guys to find them and do harm to their loved ones. Shame! Please, write them and let them know before they do the same to you.
UPDATED: Yes, it is true. They say EVERYONE MUST USE REAL NAMES VERIFIED BY THEIR ID CARDS. They are deleting accounts without reason or warning, and then demanding ID CARDS! Then, they enter the FULL NAME ON THE ID and BLOCK THE USER from being able to change it. Even though they are soldiers and plead for their privacy and family's safety, they do not care and do so without the user's permission. These are facts. And this is coming to everyone as Facebook is stating that it is in their TOS to do this to you without your permission since they are providing you this space, regardless that they are making a profit from you for free use of their site, they should not have the right to force anyone to violate their own privacy, safety and security.
